Milia Extraction

Milia are tiny, white cysts of the skin, and are often seen on the face. While sometimes confused with “whiteheads”, they are deeper in the skin than whiteheads.

Medical treatment options such as medicated washes or creams can be prescribed. However, when these fail, milia extraction may be performed for cosmetic removal.

For individuals prone to milia, chemical peels can also help prevent & decrease the number of milia.
