Skin Tag Removal

Skin tags are benign growths of skin that commonly appears as a small growth of skin hanging from a thin stalk. These typically develop with age and are most often found in parts of the body that have natural creases, such as the neck, armpits, under the chest, or groin.

A sudden appearance of many skin tags can sometimes be a sign of diabetes, and individuals with this should consider seeing their primary care physician for diabetes screening.

Skin tags do not need to be removed, and removal of asymptomatic skin tags is considered cosmetic.
